30The room is approximately 16 square meters in size and is rented furnished. It is located in a townhouse in Charlottenburg. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, we also have a large dining room and other common rooms that we use for social. The TU can be reached in 15 minutes, the HU and FU in 30 minutes. Two supermarkets are within 5 minutes, and Warschauer Straße is also within half an hour. The times are usually accurate even in winter, as the subways are not too affected by the weather.
Incidentally, we are also only 1,000 meters from the Olympic Stadium.
There are always free parking spaces on the street . gatherings or studying together. The common rooms are cleaned once a week by our housekeeper, and we also have a communal dinner every Tuesday evening for a fee of €3. We do a lot together, whether it’s rounding off the university day with a beer or going out partying together. The U2 subway provides excellent connections throughout Berlin, and the TU is just 12 minutes away.
The Tenant Protection Fee safeguards both you and your booking payment. We hold your payment and release it to the property owner only two days after your move‑in date. For example, if you move in on August 1, the owner is paid on August 3, giving you a 2‑day window to confirm the home matches its description. To further protect renters, we also require every property to meet certain baseline standards, even if not explicitly listed in the ad.
To secure a rental property, start by contacting the property owner through the listing's contact form. This will open a private messaging channel, allowing you to communicate and share the necessary documents directly. Avoid making any payment outside the platform, as this would leave your payment unprotected. Make your payment through the platform, ensuring that the payment won't be transferred to the property owner until two days after your move-in date.
Once both parties agree to proceed, the property owner will send a payment request (NOT A PAYMENT LINK) within the chat. This means you cannot make any payment until you receive this payment request, which only the property owner can send in the private chat. There is no generic payment link; instead, a "PAY" button will be activated once you receive the payment request. You can then proceed to pay the rent.
Additionally, you can ask the landlord to accept either the full deposit or the first installment (if they allow installment payments) through the platform to finalize the booking. This will ensure that you don’t have to make any payment towards the deposit at least within the 2 days after moving into the property giving you some time to ensure everything is good with the property. Always verify the move-in date specified in the payment request before completing the transaction.

The payment system includes a safety period - your payment is held securely for 2 days after you move in. The funds are only released to the property owner if you don't report any issues during this initial period. This protection mechanism helps ensure a legitimate transaction and safeguards you against potential fraudulent activities.
We don’t have any say in this, as this totally depends on the landlord’s policies. However, keep in mind that a property visit may not always reveal small or hidden issues, which is why making payments through the platform is the safest option. Doing so adds an extra layer of protection in case anything is overlooked. Moreover, all properties listed on International India Hub must meet certain minimum standards to ensure a comfortable stay in Germany. If a property fails to meet any of these listed standards, you will automatically be eligible for a refund.
