Yes, you can cancel your booking with-in 7 days of moving-into the property. The reason for cancellation should be valid and should be confined to the physical aspects of the property. You will be refunded the booking amount (first month rent + deposit) you paid through the platform and also the tenant protection fee.

Yes but only for a reasonable reason and before 14 days of moving into the property. The booking amount and the tenant protection fee will be refunded in this case with respect to the above mentioned terms.

This depends totally on the listing/property owner. As a feature we do allow property viewings but the property owner can have their own policies. Regardless of viewing or no viewing, we suggest our tenants to pay first month’s rent and deposit through the platform for their own protection.

For listings with a verified tag from Haushub, you can proceed even if viewings are not allowed, as the property has been vetted by Haushub’s team. However, for unverified listings, do not worry about the inability to conduct viewings. Since the first month’s rent and deposit are paid through Haushub’s platform, your funds remain secure. In the event the landlord is a scammer, you can receive a full refund of your money, including the tenant protection fee paid to Haushub.

Whether the owner is legitimate or a scammer, avoid direct payments as it eliminates the protection and leverage Haushub provides you.
